As I sit here today, in the cozy confines of my first office in Mysore, India, I cannot help but reminisce about the incredible journey DentistryUnited has embarked upon since its inception on this very day in 2004. The road has been winding, marked with numerous milestones that have shaped our narrative in the world of dentistry.
One of our earliest triumphs was the launch of “Dental Follicle – The E Journal of Dentistry,” a platform that not only showcased our passion for the field but also fostered a community of like-minded individuals hungry for knowledge and progress. Our foray into Continuing Dental Education (CDE) further solidified our commitment to staying at the forefront of dental advancements.
Over time, we expanded our horizons, becoming trusted media partners for esteemed conferences such as IDEM and GNYDM, where we not only reported news but also played a pivotal role in shaping the conversations around dental innovation and excellence.
Yet, amidst these victories, there came a phase where complacency crept in, and progress seemed to slow. DentistryUnited, initially a one-person endeavor bolstered by dedicated supporters, needed a spark to reignite its flame.
In 2010, we took a leap into the digital realm with the inception of the DentistryUnited Facebook group. This move revolutionized our approach to knowledge-sharing, transcending geographical boundaries and time constraints. Suddenly, our passion for dentistry could be experienced 24×7, connecting professionals worldwide in a seamless exchange of ideas and expertise.
Fast forward to today, as we stand on the precipice of a new era dominated by AI and digital dentistry, DentistryUnited is poised for a triumphant return. Armed with a renewed vision and a plethora of innovative services, we are gearing up to make a resounding comeback that will resonate across the dental community.
So, to all those who have supported us along this remarkable journey, we extend our heartfelt gratitude. Stay tuned, dear readers, for DentistryUnited is gearing up to make waves once again. The best is yet to come, and we invite you to be a part of this exhilarating evolution.
Keep watching this space, as we redefine dentistry, one breakthrough at a time.
Yours in passion and progress,
Dr Syed Nabeel
