Shortage of Dentists Leading To More Teeth Decay

In a time where we hear everyday that the dentists are increasing day in countries like India , UAE and the USA. A news that may sparke some hope among the "dental people" looking for unexplored areas. A recent study by Australian health and welfare confirms that an acute shortage of dentists  in Tasmania has lead to more people suffer from tooth decay.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Denis F.Kinane Is The  New Dean Of University of Pennsylvania

Denis F.Kinane , a professor of microbiology and immunology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and is associate dean for research and enterprise at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry is the new Dean of the University of Pennsylvania.

A native of scotland , Dr.Denis is also the Delta Dental Endowed Professor at the in the Department of Periodontics, Endodontics and Dental Hygiene at Louisville’s dentistry school.With A person with such strong file , all hopes are that he will take UOP to higher levels of success.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Green Tea Good For Periodontium

 A new study, published in the Journal of Periodontology, has found the routine intake of green tea may promote the health of teeth and gingiva. Researchers examined the periodontal health of 940 men and found those who drank green tea had significantly better dental health when compared to those who drank less green tea. The study was lead by Dr. Yoshihiro Shimazaki of Kyushu University in Japan.
